about the author

The author is a parent and grandparent, certified personal trainer, registered nurse, artist, writer, sole owner and operator of a rescue farm full of various animals, and a believer that learning should be interesting. This book was written with that in mind, as well as to encourage imagination. Imagination stretched a lot of basic science in this story; some would say to the breaking point. However, many great advances in science were made because of active imaginations. If nothing else, it is hopefully a fun adventure for the readers.

about the book

Redmond is a shape-changing Protector like all his people. He and his sister, Aashni, have rare abilities they must discover and learn to control so they can fight the Xathosi.
The Xathosi are worse than the Renegades who were once Protectors themselves but decided to ignore their responsibilities for selfish reasons. The Xathosi are invaders who will destroy a planet, taking everything from it including the plants, animals, minerals and atmosphere. Once there is nothing left, they move to another planet. They pride themselves in their cruelty, disdaining concern for others.
Redmond and Aashni help protect Planet Taj against the Xathosi, discovering and learning to use their abilities with the help of Wizard Fidnabs. They have many adventures along the way.
